Finished sewing table

Finished sewing table, originally uploaded by terryhadalittlelamb.

Yesterday I had to turn down an invitation to go out. That is the second time in two or three weeks. Why did I turn it down? Because I am so far behind on weaving and I need to get this stuff done! As of now I am caught up but there is another birthday project due on Sunday. I knew if I didn’t finish what I was working on there was no way I could get the next thing done so I stayed up late and got that finished. The funny thing is the only person who knows about these deadlines is me and they don’t really matter all that much. I am so weird!

It was nice out yesterday and I wanted to ride my bike to work but the weather said it would rain so I didn’t then it never rained. Today is the same way, it looks like it could rain any second so I am not going to chance it.

I used baking soda in place of deodorant yesterday and it worked fine so I am using that from now on.

Your Grandma Pete would be so proud of you and your little sewing table. She tried and tried to teach me to no avail. Give me tools and I am OK, forget the needle and thread :-)

It looks great! Did you put a sealer on it? You should put your apartment into the Small Cool 2008 contest on apartmenttherapy.com. Monday's the deadline!

I didn't seal it, I think it will be ok, I painted my wardrobe and didn't seal it and it is holding up.

I don't think my place can compete with the ones on apartment therapy.
